To take you back to his comments which landed him on top of the trends list, Rea accused JazziQ of sacrificing his best friends Mpura and Killer Kau to advance his career.
Mpura and Killer Kau lost their lives during a car accident a few months ago on their way to a gig in Rustenburg. Sadly JazziQ could not attend both their funerals despite declaring them family more than friends.
This made Rea Gopane even more suspicious so he tried to connect the dots. Another thing which made Rea suspicious was the fact that JazziQ included them in a music video for a song they were not even featured in. Where has e been hiding because such occurrences have been happening.
"The entire entertainment industry looked passed the fact that JazziQ sacrificed Killer Kau and Mpura...for the betterment of his career," alleged Rea. "The day after they died, he went to Ghana..." said Rea then his co-host Blvck Steph, asked him "so you think the ritual was done there."
Rea added, "I'm just saying, we are not reading between the lines...the sacrifice is right there and everybody missed it."
JazziQ's lawyers released a statement saying he had asked them to apologise and take down the episode from their social media pages but they have not done so.
The reason why JazziQ will not be getting an apology is because Rea Gopane does not want to as he feels the Amapiano star is too cocky and acts all high and mighty.
On the podcast, Rea says JazziQ disrespected them when he had the opportunity to respect them. "I don't care how much of a superstar you are, it's about respect. We came to him as a media company and as fans," said Rea Gopane.
The Black Steph who always reserved is controversial comments when Rea makes is, said he found it weird how Rea spoke about JazziQ and made him wonder if Nota Baloyi was whispering in his ears.
Black Steph does not agree with Rea making those controversial comments about JazziQ and he said that made them look like popeye's (idiots/jokes). Rea then defends his opinions and said it was just a conspiracy theory. But they argued with each other and said Rea should be careful about what he says and not only think for himself but for the whole podcast as well.
But Rea maintained his stance and said he does not have any regrets about what he said because JazziQ made them look like a bunch of nobody's.
"I'm not gonna apologise to JazziQ, he's an as**ole. I am a huge fan of him but I just do not like his personality."
In their lawyer letters, JazziQ's lawyers said their episode "maliciously defames Tumelo Manyoni (his real name). While we do not know where the heinous allegations levelled against Mr. Manyoni emenate from, we do know the following: The allegations are void of any truth and are harmful...The allegations have had a severe impact on Mr. Manyoni both emotionally and psychologically."
After they refused to withdraw their statements, the law firm said "The matter will not be pursued civilly and criminally."
