On the last episode of Uthando Nesthembu, Musa Mseleku expressed that he wants to take wife number 5 and he does not care what the other wives think about this. His three wives MaNgwabe, MaKhumalo and MaYeni all expressed disapproval of sister wife number five, saying she is not needed. He shook viewers when he said he will marry his girlfriend and does not care if the wives leave him.

But it seems as though he is having a sudden change of heart as he told Daily Sun that he will no longer focus on taking wife number 5, but rather focus on changing the other wives' minds.

MaNgwabe revealed that Musa promised her that she will be the last wife and will no longer marry another woman. It angered her when Musa expressed eagerness and even threatened to leave him.

Musa told the publication that he does not want his wives to leave him so he will put his mission on hold - for now.

“I couldn’t take wife number five because my two wives, MaNgwabe and MaYeni Mseleku, have threatened to leave me. They were not happy and I realised if I insist on it, my family would have been destroyed. I love my wives and I don’t want to lose Mbali or Muntuza over this. Instead, I want to build the Mseleku family.,“ he said.

Musa then said the woman he plans on making wife number 5, should come into a home which is not toxic. The wives did express how they will not love the 5th wife so Musa is trying to protect her from the toxicity.

He said he wants to convince his wives of this move so that they all respect her, “For now, I have a responsibility to convince these two wives to ensure they respect and like her before I marry her.”

Musa is still going to marry her but still needs the support from all his wives.

Musa's polygamous ways are rubbing off on his son who is planning on taking both his girlfriend and baby mama as his wives.

The 20-year-old told Daily Sun last year, "I’m not cheating but I am following in my father’s footsteps. My relationship with them is built on trust and transparency. There’s no secret about it. The baby mama lives in Cape Town and my other girlfriend lives in Durban," he told the publication.

He said he first needs to be financially fit for them before taking their relationship to the next level. “Unfortunately I can’t reveal their names but I’ve been dating them since 2019 and I introduced them to each other. There’s no fight between the two of them because I was honest with them from the beginning."

“I made them understand the bigger picture. I have good intentions for them but I need to be financially stable before I do the right thing,”
said Mpumelelo.
