If there’s one thing we’ve come to learn about Nomzamo is that she has a love for her family. The ones alive and the ones that have passed on to the after-life.
In many of her interviews, Nomzamo has opened up about the passing of her younger sister – Carla who committed suicide after her battle with depression.
Nomzamo also lost her father a few years back and according to Move magazine, the actress recently revealed that her father passed away from Aids. Nomzamo recently opened up about the cause of her father’s death during her Ted Talk in Kenya.
“…I find service and honour in that in his last days I was there to take care of him, making sure I change his nappies.”
Nomzamo also mentioned that she took care of her grandmother during her last days on earth as well.
“My grandmother passed away and I was there to take care of her. I remember those last moments as moments of not just refuge, but a moment of knowing that someone somewhere was going through something much deeper,” she said.
