South African media personality, Ntando Duma is on everyone’s lips these days. Besides the dilemma that she is currently engulfed in, she also found herself being the topic of discussion when many questioned her political stance after ”innocently” wrapping her head with an Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) doek.
However, in a new turn of events, the former Rhythm City actress has since spoken out about this debacle, claiming that it was an innocent move from her end, which was unfortunately blown out of proportion.
Speaking to Isolezwe, the media starlet said: “I was sitting at home and came across an EFF doek. I wore it because I realised that it suits me. I took the picture because I had a headache caused by the fact that I had braided my hair. I was asking people how do they go to sleep with their braids because I could not at the time.”
Hopefully this will serve as a lesson to Ntando and other celebrities. It is usually small things like these that could probably create unnecessary drama.
