Pearl Thusi is never one to shy away from tweeting about some of her problems. Whether it's her personal life or work problems, she knows how to stir up a conversation.
She took to social media to vent about how she has been a victim of theft at the hands of her home staff which she trusted. She said having people who are that close to you, steal from you is something close to betrayal.
"The saddest thing is when staff in your home steal from you, it’s like losing family. And without proof of who did it - you have to pay for their crime to let them go or deal with the CCMA. That’s actually crazy," she said in one post.
Responding to a follower who advised her to tackle the issue head on, Pearl said her staff is the only people who have access to the things that are missing, "The stuff is just missing and no one knows what happened but they’re the only other people with access to the property missing. I’m actually hurt. I really cared for these people."
What does DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi have in common? Apart from the fact that they are both highly successful ladies who share a friendship many can only dream of. They both have people within their camp who they cannot trust.
DJ Zinhle once suffered a similar ordeal with her employees as well, as she revealed that someone in her circle is continuously feeding the media confidential information about her personal life, and her loved ones' as well.
This was after her boyfriend Murdah Bongz made headlines when he fell during the shooting of a music video with DJ Tira and DJ Speedsta. Witnesses on set say he fell really hard on his back. So hard that he was left unresponsive for a while.

“They were shooting with DJ Tira and DJ Speedsta among other famous people. He missed a step and came rolling down,” a source told the publication. “He has seen an orthopedic [doctor], and he was told he is lucky; it could have been worse. He was also told to take it easy on stage to avoid straining his back,” a source told Sunday World.
Taking to Twitter, the Siyabonga hitmaker said she is deeply concerned about the people within her camp. She referred to this person as a pathological liar who lives off of selling 'fake news' to the media, therefore cannot be trusted.
"Guys. I am worried!!!! I clearly work with someone who’s a pathological liar and who also takes fake news to newspapers. What a sad human. What’s actually sad is that I don’t know who it is," she tweeted.
Without trying to expand on the topic, her followers told her it could be her best friend Pearl Thusi.
Theft is never a nice thing to suffer especially if it comes from trusted people in your circle. That's not the only theft Zinhle has suffered in her circle. On her reality show, one of her employees told her that someone had been making mysterious transactions from her bank account, which we assume is a work account.
"She treats everyone like a family member, so I don't think she expects anything like this from anyone of us." She said there were two transactions that were never approved by her.
Then Sunday World reported that she has since opened a case of fraud and theft at the Protea Glen police station, as she is a victim of cyber crime. The suspect stole this money in bits from July 2020, till July 2021.
