South African DJ, Prince Kaybee, has decided to take matters into his own hands by changing the narrative on some of the most outrageous things he has ever said. Known for his controversial remarks and snide comments amount his industry peers, the Hosh hit maker has landed himself in hot water over many of the things he has said in the past.
In a tweet on Monday, 12 October 2020, Prince Kaybee called upon his followers to share some of his most quotable lines, or at least some of his words that have gotten him into trouble. With an array of one-liners to choose from, tweeps had a field day selecting the most outstanding line, causing him to trend on Twitter for the majority of the afternoon and evening.
Some of the lines included; when he mentioned that he was a better DJ than Black Coffee, when he referred to Cassper Nyovest as Shortpan , and most recently when he called DJ Maphorisa, Lion Lager.
In a recent Tweet, DJ Maphorisa was feeling himself and sharing with his fans how much his skin is admired, this came after he initially asked his fans if he is attractive or not because some lady commented on his looks. Prince Kaybee found the perfect opportunity to troll DJ Maphorisa and his fresh, clean look by calling him Lion Lager, and his fans couldn't contain themselves with laughter.
The outrageous comments and constant beefs with celebrities have called for Prince Kaybee to become one of the most hated-on celebs in the country. Following months of social media controversy, Prince Kaybee, has conditioned himself to receive hate from trolls, as opposed to love from his loyal fans. With many of his followers sharing their appreciation for the musician on social media on Monday, 20 July 2020, the Fetch Your Life creator questioned the motives of the public. He tweeted, “Wts up with positive comments today guys, am I dying? I’m not used to such yaz.”
One of his fans then took time to clarify that he was just appreciating him as an artist, and did not intend to make him question his intentions. Prince Kaybee quickly apologised for discrediting his complement, responding with, “No worries, I’m just used to hate so my guard is always on a hundred, my apologies if I offended you.”
