Guys, do not mess with Sho Madjozi's fans! The gqom powerhouse found herself in trouble on the Twitter streets this week but her fans were not about to let her go down without a fight.
As all amazing stories do, this one began in Durban -- specifically at King Shaka international airport -- where Sho Madjozi was stuck in transit after her flight was delayed repeatedly for 8 hours. An 8-minute delay is enough to drive someone crazy, so we can't even imagine how livid she must have been after being stranded for that long.
She took to social media to vent her frustrations, and the Hukuhitmaker was asked to explain how this had happened by one of her followers. Interestingly, she only had one person to blame for the entire incident: Jacob Zuma (well, SAA initially but Jacob Zuma).
Sho Madjozi wrote on Twitter: "Business rescue on SAA my friend. But if you wanna go deeper; it’s because of mass looting of state funds under JZ"
This reply was triggering. Jacob Zuma's loyal fans (and let's be clear, there are plenty of them) came after the Limpopo Champion's League hitmaker and slammed her for speaking out of turn.
People called her everything; from a Cyril Ramaphosa apologist, to a "clueless" singer who should stick to "shouting" on stage. It got ugly very quickly, and before it could get out of hand, Sho Madjozi's fans intervened on behalf of their fave.
