#SAFTAs14: All The Drama And Winners From Last Night’s Announcement!
The 14th edition of the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs), left many tweeps disappointed after not airing on time. The awards were meant to air at 5 pm, but they were postponed to 8 pm, and they ended up airing after 11 pm.

We don’t know if the dress of our host Dineo Ranaka, was delayed or it got confiscated by the police on the way, or maybe her makeup artist, who was billed to face beat her could not make it, but we would have appreciated a heads up.

The delay got so many people agitated, who ended up sleeping before the big announcements.
The awards finally aired and many SA artists cemented their place at this year’s edition. This years stakes were very high but, some of the winners who bagged an award deserve the recognition they have received.

Some of the big winners included Kgomotso Christopher, who won the best-supporting actress in a TV soap, The Queen’s actor Loyiso McDonald who won the best supporting actor in a Telenovela, Flo Masebe who won the best actress in a TV drama, Brenda Ngxoli who bagged the best-supporting actress in a TV drama award, Sindi Dlathu who won the best female lead actress in a Telenovela and Somizi who scooped an award for his reality show.
