2021 has started off to a bad start with another celeb losing a loved one.
Former YO.TV presenter Sipho 'Psyfo' Ngwenya has just announced that his mother passed away.
"Thank you for everything you ever did for me. You gave me a new destiny and a chance for a better life. As heartbreaking as it is to type this I am also happy that you lived a full life and took your last breath doing what you love doing most, travelling to other countries. We will miss you and love you always" he wrote
His wife Mirah Aamirah also expressed her sorrow over her mother in law's passing.
Another celeb who is in mourning is Multi-award-winning rapper Da L.E.S who closed off 2020 on a bad note following the passing of his father, Leslie Jonathan Mampe SNR.

The rapper broke the news last week in a tweet that he has suffered a major blow and he did not reveal more details surrounding the cause of his father's death. Da L.E.S tweeted "R.I.P Leslie Jonathan Mampe SNR", and messages of condolences have been pouring in for his family.
The rapper has revealed that his father will be laid to rest today.
It is no secret that losing a loved one is one of the most traumatizing experiences in life and healing from their loss can take several years, thus putting a strain on your life. This year has been a rollercoaster ride and not a great year for several people who suffered from the brunts of COVID-19 and even lost their loved ones.
The hip-hop star is not the only celeb to lose a parent this year. Model and businesswoman Ayanda Ncwane, recently announced the passing of her beloved mother. In a post on Instagram, Ayanda posted of picture of herself with her mom and captioned it, "Yah neh. How does one even say rest In Peace MOM How? Her fans took to her comments section to send their messages of condolences.
Another one of our faves who lost a loved one is award-winning house legend DJ Oskido, who lost his father, Esaph Mdlongwa. Taking to social media a few months ago he announced his passing. The DJ shared a series of images of him with his father and paid tribute to him. Oskido said his father succumbed to the novel coronavirus.

Another star who lost a loved one is Kabza Da Small. The star took to Twitter to express his sorrow at losing a loved one just before Christmas. He just tweeted “2020” along with a thumbs down and two broken hearts emojis. Tweeps revealed that he lost his baby and comforted him.
