Pholoso Masombuka, famously known as Toss, went on Instagram live crying and said to his fans he “needs love right now.” Before he could get a chance to explain what he meant by that, he ended his Instagram live session.
Finally fans can get answers as Toss told TshisaLive that he was suicidal and he could not speak to his friends because they were part of the problem.
“When I went live I was suicidal. I just wanted to speak about it, I didn’t want to cry. I just wanted to tell people how tough it is. It’s not as glamorous as it looks. I wanted to speak about what was happening at that time, I could say anything. It was really crazy. My heart was broken.
“I was trying to vent. I couldn’t vent to my friends because they were part of the problem at that time, same with my family. Everyone was not understanding me at that time. I thought perhaps the people on the Live would want to give me an ear because no-one was trying to do that. I just needed some love.”
After the fainting incident occurred at a gig, Toss put his fans at ease and told them that he is fine, they should not panic.
"I just want to address what happened yesterday, I fainted on stage due to fatigue. I just wanted to inform you that I am doing well.. I saw a video that has been circulating on Twitter and I just wanted to give you an update that I am okay and I appreciate the love and positive energies that you are sending out to me," he said.
"I appreciate everything. I will come back stronger and I wanted to apologize to the promoter for what happened. I hope the show went well after I had left," he said thanking his fans for the support.
Toss also thanked his mother with a freestyled verse. Captioning the video, he said, “I wouldn’t have survived the past few days without my mother. It’s been a tough week for her, but she stood for me when I couldn’t stand for myself!!! Ngiyabonga (thank you) for everything Ma!!! Ngisazok’jabulisa!!! Ak’pheleli La , Themba mina,” he wrote.
