When life imitates art, it can either be an interesting thing to witness or a very scary experience. This can be attested to a recent ordeal that involved Uzalo actor, Mphumelelo Bhulose. According to Sunday World, Mphumelelo was involved in a head-on collision that left his car in a shambles.
In a recent episode of Uzalo, Mphumelelo was also involved in a car accident that almost took his life. His character was later “killed” by a gun wound sustained during an altercation.
Speaking to the publication, Mphumelelo explained that the other driver was far too intoxicated to even realise he was at fault.
“The young man wanted to moer us, including the police on the scene, accusing us of being wrong.” said the actor.
Mphumelelo added that if it weren’t for his safety belt and the airbags in the car, he would’ve not survived the accident.
This week on Uzalo, we saw Bhulose’s character “Muzi Gxabashe Xulu” buried after dying from a gun wound. Although Uzalo is loved and respected by many, some of it’s viewers were not happy that Mphumelelo’s character had been cut off from the show….or has he?
