Mzansi Magic has rubbished reports that The Queen Mzansi actress Zenande Mfenyane has been booted off the show. This is after the rumour mill was on overdrive - with many saying that the actress has been fired from the show because she is pregnant.
Many have been speculating that the show's producers have killed her character from the soapie because they could not craft a storyline for her character due to her pregnancy.
Zenande portrays the character of Goodness Mabuza, the daughter of the ruthless and conniving Gracious Mabuza played by Rami Chuene - who left the show early this month.
Yesterday Zenande posted a tweet saying it is well with her soul and her tweet has tongues wagging on whether the reports of her exit on the show are true or not. Rami responded and said "Your peace will always sustain you. I love that "
Fans were left convinced that she might have left the show. They responded about the pregnancy rumours and one twitter user even went on to say that she sees a bun in the oven already.
ZAlebs contacted Mzansi Magic to enquire about Zenande's possible exit on the show, Vuyiswa Dlodlo Mnet's PRs said: " Please note that Zenande Mfenyana is not leaving The Queen and has not been written off the storyline"
When asked about whether Zenande was pregnant there was no reply. Attempts to get a comment from Zenande drew a bleak as she did not respond to our direct message. The Queen Mzansi has been hogging headlines recently, this follows after one of the shows much-loved actresses Rami Chuene and Setumo Motsoaledi left the show early this month.
Rami's controversial exit left many shook after it was reported that she was fired because she weighed in on veteran actress Vatiswa Ndara's social media storm with The Fergusons who produces the show.
Vatiswa levelled allegations of exploitation and poor working conditions against the producers. The actress initially wanted to be paid 1 million on one of their shows Igazi but the Fergusons said they could not afford it and she went to write an open letter to Minister Nathi Mthethwa detailing her dissatisfaction about the problems endured by entertainers in the local entertainment industry.
Rami commented under the #ShowMustGoOn which apparently landed her in hot water with the Fergusons. Although she did not name and shame them in her series of tweets The Fergusons were not impressed with her comments which resulted in her character written off from the show.
