Dimpho has left viewers of The River 1 Magic heartbroken following her childish and irresponsible behaviour. The University student has flunked a final year module and now the organization helping students pay for their fees can’t help her for another year as per their agreement.

Rakgadi Kedibone, Thuso and Morena have gone out of their way to help raise funds for her. Rakgadi and Morena have been selling some products to help her out while Thuso has his car stolen while trying to sell it to help his younger sister out.

Dimpho, however, has been reluctant to help out as she’s afraid that everyone in the community will see her as a failure. She stole all the money Kedibone had saved up and went to Kedibone’s tavern to lie to everyone that she had found a job and is now balling. She offered to buy everyone alcohol with her aunt hard-earned money. This has left a sour taste in viewers of the show as they can’t see to fathom how someone can be so unappreciative and so irresponsible. They have taken to social media to express their disappointment.

Another storyline that has caught everyone by surprise is that of Zweli Dikana, Lindiwe Dikana and Nyakallo. All seemed to be going well between Lala and Lindiwe following their baecation, but the appearance of sis Flora’s niece Nyakallo has shown their relationship flames. Zweli has fallen for Nyakallo and cannot hold back his feeling anymore. He has asked Lindiwe for a divorce, gave her back his wedding ring and immediately went to ask for Nyakallo’s hand in marriage. Hectic right?

No one could have anticipated that South African TV’s biggest power couple would one day call it quits. While breaking the news to Lindiwe, Dikana said that he is tired of living with a cold-blooded murderer and cannot forget all the things she has done in the past.

Back in May, Presley Chweneyagae who plays Cobra in the drama revealed that he will be calling it quits once he turns 40-years-old.  “I’ll quit acting when I turn 40, and I won’t be in involved in the entertainment industry as I’ll focus on a different work and environment,” he was quoted by Daily Sun.
