Zola Nombona is having the time of her life playing Pamela Khoza on Generations: The Legacy. Fans have grown to love and embrace her character on the SABC 1 drama series. So much to the point where her latest post scared them a bit as she almost made it seem as though she was leaving.

Taking to her social media, Zola showed gratitude to the Generations team and said it has been a lovely journey with them, "What a journey. I’ve been with the Generations family for over 6 months now and what a lovely journey it has been."
Zola said she would have joined the telenovela much sooner but the timing was never right, until 6 month back. "I’ve had multiple opportunities to join the team but it never happened because I guess the timing wasn’t right. I thought I was not a long form actor because I get bored easily but quickly realised that I actually didn’t have the stamina for it," she said.
Zola said she is very grateful for the opportunity and the support from her fans, "I’m so grateful for the opportunity that I have been granted to be on this show."
Just when she made it seem as though she was leaving, she said her character is about to shake things up on the show. "Pamela Khoza is about to shake things up!!!! P.S I’m not leaving the show, just showing gratitude for what God has done for me."
This is the second telenovela she has ever acted in. She bagged a role on BET's Isono playing the character Zoleka Sigcawu.
Speaking to Daily Sun at the time she said, "It’s been a very interesting ride and I’m enjoying it. I feel fortunate and blessed to be able to tap into these different types of mediums when it comes to acting, whether it’s theatre or a location-based series or telenovela."
Zola had a health scare a few weeks ago and it was due to her overworking herself. Apart from Generations, she was also the host of the 5th Royal Soapie Awards nominees announcement which were broadcast on September 1.
"Sometimes life reminds us that we are mere mortals. Reminder to be kind to yourselves fatigue and burnout is a real thing," she said on her IG stories.
Not only that, but she is also a mother too which can be sometimes a full time job. "Being a working mother is surely one of the toughest roles I’ve had to play. There are days where I find myself so tired I could cry. Then guilt kicks in. ‘You can’t be complaining of being tired when you’ve been blessed with work, and doing what you love at that’ I think to myself. Then I start feeling tension in my head as I head back to learning my lines and working,” she said in a previous IG story.
