Her hair, make-up was all on point, and her look just hit all the right notes for her and Lungile Radu’s Mzansi Magic TV show ‘Homeground’ on Monday night

About the look:

It appears the cream high-neck top and camo pants are by Durban designer Aya Velase

About the Designer:

Aya Velase is based in Durban. The young designer is a former David Tlale intern, and asymmetrical proportions, like those seen on this top worn by Minnie, seem to be a signature that cuts through much of his work, often with stunning results. We wait patiently for this talented designer to hit the big time, because he deserves all the attention!

What’s there to love:

The unexpected design is refreshing. We love that the look touches on current trends – crop, high neck, camo – without compromising design aesthetics, and that she looks so effortlessly glam in it.

How you can get the look:

Well, if you have the bucks and patience, you could contact the designer, or you could simply draw inspiration from Minnie’s look and mozzie on down to your nearest retail store. Pair a white, cream or camel ribbed turtle neck with a camo pencil skirt for a chic office look, or even swap the skirt for pants, for a more relaxed, but versatile look.
