This year the competition has had to drop many of their hopefuls after Twitter's private investigators unearthed some of their past mishaps.
Bianca Schoombe was the first hopeful to withdraw her entry after 'Black Twitter' uncovered some highly offensive social media posts from the 21-year-old model. She later issued out an apology.
Another hopeful to land in hot water was Shudu after it was alleged that she only follows people she only knows. This resulted in the hashtag #ShuduMustFall. However, the star has made it to the top 10.
