Actress Innocentia Manchidi and her husband, Mpho, are celebrating a new chapter as they welcome their second child together.
Taking to her social media page, the star shared a heartfelt look at the big day, posting a behind-the-scenes moment from the delivery room along with photos of herself holding their newborn baby boy.
Innocentia opened up about how she felt in the lead-up to the birth, describing herself as surprisingly calm once she was brought into the theatre. She also noted that Mpho was feeling anxious, while adding that the experience became even more meaningful thanks to hymns they played before their child arrived.
“Officially a mom of two beautiful angels, and listen, I have a beautiful story to tell about this God, ke nale bopaki [I have proof]. I’m still basking in this blessing right now, but believe me when I say God restores, OK?! He restores and makes you whole again,” she wrote.
She continued, reflecting on the journey and the timing of their family’s growth: “The years 2023 and 2026 further revealed the goodness and faithfulness of God in our lives in the form of these children. Two smooth pregnancies and healthy babies. What more can we ask for?”
For their first pregnancy, Innocentia and Mpho decided to keep things private for a while.
“We made a decision to keep our pregnancy private (not a secret) until a time we felt ready to share.”
Since then, she has continued to document her life as a mom, sharing sweet mommy-and-me moments with her growing family.
