Kefilwe Mabote celebrates a Heavenly Birthday

There is no greater loss than losing a loved one but what is more important is to always remember them. Today fashion influencer Kefilwe Mabote took to her Instagram to celebrate her late mother’s birthday. She penned a heartfelt birthday message for her mother wishing her a happy birthday in heaven.

Happy Birthday in heaven mom. You were always such a ray of sunshine in our life, we miss you terribly on this day we commit our thoughts and actions to you. Best wishes on your birthday in heaven,” she wrote.

Messages of condolences and warm heavenly birthday wishes poured in from her fans and colleagues.
Zandile_motseko wrote: “I remember meeting your mom back in 2016 when my mom retired as a teacher, super sweet she used to drive my nephew to school. Moya wah ae o robale ka kgotso (May her soul rest in peace)”
Matwala also shared her words of encouragement, she responded: “No doubt she is proud of the woman you became and will definitely watch over, you siblings and her grandchildren.”
TV personality Minnie Dlamini  Jones wrote: “Sending you strength and love.”

It has only been about three months since the passing of her mother. She passed away last year in December.  The influencer then took to social media to announce the passing of her mother with an emotional post that read: “RIP Mom.. what a very sad day for me. Matlodi Dorothy Mabote 30/12/2020. I’m so shuttered I never saw this coming.”

She also received backlash on social media for posting funeral pictures, some fans highlighted that she made the funeral look like a fashion show. The pictures she posted included her mother’s casket, guest, décor, and funeral procession.

In early January this year, Kefilwe bid a farewell to her late mother sharing another heartfelt message. She also that the events company and everyone for the support and love.

She posted a video of her mother’s burial ceremony with a caption: “A farewell fit for a queen, my queen. This week has been the hardest week I have ever had to live through, but my mother’s comforting love and words have carried me through. Would love to extend my sincerest gratitude to @nono-events for the immaculate setup. I am truly happy with how everything came through seamlessly. Thank you to everyone for the unwavering support and love shown. May God continue blessing you all. ”
