On Saturday, we made our way to One Source Live, held at The Sheds, downtown Johannesburg. The event, which was put together by Absolut Vodka, was out of this world. There was art, music and all kinds of lovely people. If you had to ask us what the highlight was, we’d unanimously say it was the performances.
We
lost our minds when D’banj walked on stage, and couldn’t contain our excitement
when it was Sjava’s turn to entertain the crowd. As if that was not enough,
Khuli Chana brought out his Morafe group members, Kay-G and Towdee, and they
gave the people what they want. We were also touched when they paid respect to
fallen artists Pro Kid and HHP.
Did we mention that we got to see
Trompies? How many people can say they’ve watched these legends live on stage?
The night ended on a high note with an unforgettable Distruction Boyz set.
Sho Madjozi, Shane Eagle and DJ PH were also among the performers. Take a look
