So wait, Muvhango actress, Maumela Mahuwa is NOT leaving Muvhango! Oh dear, we honestly thought we’d had our ducks in our row when we reported that Susan was on her way out of Muvhango to pursue ministry.
It turns out, we, and other entertainment publications, had jumped the gun slightly. It turns out that Susan is staying absolutely put and there is no truth to any rumours of her leaving the show. Any beliefs that she might be quitting were put to bed by SABC 2 Publicist, Lebo Malete who said the following to press:
“There is no truth in articles written about Maumela leaving the soapie, she is still part of the Muvhango team, there was no statement whatsoever issued out to the public.”
The actress will continue being a pastor and preaching, but this will in no way affect her role on SABC 2’s hit drama, Muvhango.
