The Queen viewers took to Phil’s comment section as soon as he announced his departure to criticize his acting skills. Others said he needed to work on her acting technique.
“@DuchessOGauteng, “Shame, but we’re not surprised. He should up his acting game for his next role if he gets one. He really missed an opportunity to make waves here,”
A Twitter user defended the actor and said he was being unfairly targeted: “Never thought I would witness so much hate from people for you my boy @Molemo_Tlali But it shows you stepped on their toes ,no matter what happens I am still proud.

Others have said Molemo has been miscast, not because he’s a bad actor. @EnemiesSheperd, “Arh bro it not hate mos this role is just not for him, don’t be a friend who comfort others with lies, tell them to understand that not all roles will fit them nicely so that we applaud their talent. He has potential, great potential at that, but not all roles work for everyone
Do not mislead Molemo. He is new at this. An actor’s work will be critiqued. Audiences and critics will have opinions & they won’t always be an applause. Halle Berry won an Oscar & a Razzie in one year. Some roles won’t land. That’s when you take the critique & hone craft,”

The actor went on a blocking spree, blocking those who critique his acting capabilities. Philip did not hesitate to state that if he wants to become a great actor he would need a thick skin and a willingness to be criticized.
Oh well 🤷🏾♂️
It is unfortunate that Molemo listened to people like you. If he wants to be an actor without critique, he will have a tough time.
My not liking Khumo & Olerato relationship was not personal attack on the actors.
Molemo was miscast as Khumo. That’s just honest. pic.twitter.com/P6KQA27N0a

Recently, the Queen has lost many talents. Actor SK Khoza who plays Shaka Khoza was recently given the boot following assault allegations lodged by his ex-fiancée Ayanda Hlongwane. Sunday World reported that the actor was arrested after Mandy after he allegedly physically abused her.
This follows an incident that allegedly took place at Mandy’s Fourways home where SK allegedly beat her up. The actor made an appearance at the Randburg magistrate court on October 13, where he received a bail of R2 000.
Actress Cindy Mahlangu, who played the role of Siyanda has also left the show with immediate effect.
