The poster of the much anticipated film to date has finally been released to the public. The screen adaptation of Nelson Mandel’s autobiography Long Walk to Freedom has displayed an image of actor Idris Elba who will be impersonating Mandela in the film. Long Walk to freedom had an international release today (20 May 2013) at the Cannes International Film Festival, it was released by South African producer Anant Singh who was also the producer of the block buster movie Mr Bones as well as Harvey Weinstein co-chairman of the Weinstein company. According to reports the poster is just the first run of images that will be showcased in the coming weeks.
Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom will be released in South Africa later on in the year.
