Oprah's Girls Are All Grown Up!

Oprah is loved in South Africa and she loved us. So much, infact, that the global icon opened her Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy back in 2007. The class inducted when the school first open are all grown up now and Oprah is still like another mom to them!

Oprah started posting their celebrations on her social media and they couldn’t look happier together! First up, was the wedding of Glori Nelson, one of her closest former students. Auntie Oprah spent R140 000 on Glori’s wedding dress. She also was right there on the big day to walk her down the aisle! Oprah went again to another favourite South African, Gert-Johan Coetzee to create her look for the day.

Then it was time to celebrate their graduations! Time has really flown by that now it is time for her students to graduate with high honours. Most of the girls have since been able to access the opportunity to study across America for university. Many thanks to Auntie Oprah! She said she has attended all 19 graduations of her original Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy girls!
