Amber Rose has celebrated the upcoming arrival of her first child with a no frills baby shower.
The 29-year-old model – whose ex-boyfriend Kanye West recently announced his current girlfriend Kim Kardashian, 32, is expecting their first child – is due to give birth to a baby boy with her ‘Black and Yellow’ fiance Wiz Khalifa next month and enjoyed a low key blue-themed shower with family and friends on Sunday (06.01.13).
She shared details of her party with her Twitter followers, writing: ”We had a good ol down home baby shower today. No papz, no booshiness just fun, friends, family, food and good times. (sic)”
Amber – who was left devastated after miscarrying her first baby even though it wasn’t planned – previously admitted she is planning to have an all-natural water birth without the help of medical aid, and the couple confirmed they are keen to resume planning their wedding after their son is born.
She said: ”I’m so ready. I’ve decided that I’m going to have an all-natural water birth. No medicine. I want those bragging rights! The next time Wiz has a stomach ache or anything, I’ll say, ‘I popped out a baby all-natural.’ ”
Wiz added: ”It makes more sense for the baby to be in the wedding than for her to be pregnant. Some people, they rush and do it, but it works both ways.”
