Ntsiki Mazwai upset a lot of people when she attacked women in the ANC over the weekend.
The poet and musician, who is known for her controversial statements about other celebrities, described ANC women as “idiots” and “panties” on Twitter. She suggested that they also sleep their way to the top.
Some women, inclduding Lerato Kganyago and Simphiwe Dana, took to Twitter to express their views on the matter. However, it seems like the ANC Women’s League would rather stay out of this one.
Speaking to ZAlebs, the league’s acting spokesperson, Khusela Sangoni, said they don’t want to comment on the matter.
