ZAlebs was out and about in these Jozi streets again, this time around we hung out with rapper and director Yanga who was shooting a video for his latest single, Matshingelane.
The video, which was shot in Maboneng saw Yanga and his crew of cool kids shut down an entire street to give us yet another awesome local hip hop video.
During our interview with the rapper, he informed us that he actually directed L-Tido’s Dlala ka yona music video and in case you didn’t know, he also directed AKA’s All Eyes On Me music video too.
Quite the talented guy right?
Here’s what Yanga had to say about the concept behind his Mantshingelane video and what other videos he was inspired by whilst growing up.
