It’s been a rough year for Blaklez especially since his debut on Dineo Ranaka’s reality TV show Dineo’s Diary: Mogul in the Making. As of late Blaklez has been in a public dispute with his ex-girlfriend Dineo after she revealed that the rapper was an absent father and that she could do better without him. Blaklez managed to sweep Dineo’s comments under the carpet but now the Pretoria based rapper has suffered yet another blow in his life with the recent passing of his mother.
According to the website Wonted, Blaklez’s mother passed on this past weekend after what was deemed as a ‘’short illness’’.
On the brighter side the rappers new single Don’t Be Scared is receiving rave reviews from Hip Hop heads and radio stations across the country. The song also consists of a sample from the Godfather of Kwaito, Mdu Masilela’s hit song Mazola.
