The picture that Da Les posted on his Instagram profile, captioned #Brother, of him and AKA at the All White Party last week was so adorable. I feel like, in every entertainment industry you just have a certain duo who have an unrivalled chemistry. In the UK it’s Ant and Dec, who a lot of old souls might remember, hosted the very first ever Pop Idols. In the USA, comedic duo, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have that scene on lock down. The pair have incredible chemistry and have even hosted the most recent Golden Globes for the umpteenth time.
And in SA? Who do we have? I’m sure there are several decent candidates, but the top one for sure has to be AKA and DA Les. The bromantic rap duo can often be seen together, whether they are performing on stage or chilling at some of the finest venues in Mzansi, they show each other nothing but brotherly love and respect.
In a country where men hardly ever look out for their brothers, focusing on chasing girls or money. These two keep the rest aside and focus on growing the kind of friendship many people often dream of.
