Indie rapper Cassper Nyovest and popular ‘Rockville’ actress Boity Thulo were once an item.
Cassper – who was born Refiloe Maele Phoolo in the village of Montshiwa in Mafikeng – has been making waves ahead of the release of his debut studio album, ‘Tsholofelo’, and also for his much-publicised ‘beef’ with fellow rapper AKA.
He recently spoke to Drum magazine about the album, the title of which means ‘hope’ in English, and which is also the name of his sister who years ago gave him her monthly allowance so he could move to Jozi to realise his dream.
During his interview, the rapper was quizzed about his rumoured relationship with Boity, whose pert behind made headlines early this year when it appeared in the 2014 Marie Claire Naked Issue.
While confirming that she was once his girlfriend, Cassper joked: “Yes, about four years ago. It’s been a while – she can still get it if she ever wants to.”
As luck would have it, the rapper might actually have a chance to reconcile with Boity, as rumours are rife that she was recently dumped by her boyfriend Greg Borowsky who, as a musician and producer, runs the GB Collective.
And as Cassper gets ready to drop ‘Tsholofelo’ on 31 July 2014, Boity’s getting ready for her first performance as one of the celebrity contestants on season seven of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, which kicks off on 18 July 2014.
