Celebs continue to tweet for Madiba

After news broke last night that former President Nelson Mandela’s condition had become critical, many local celebrities took to Twitter to express their feelings. Here’s what they had to say:

@JustinT_SA: Going to be a very long night for South Africans & the world with our hero #MAdiba in a critical condition. We love you Tata #PrayForMadiba

@dannykmusic: #prayformadiba

@DineoRanaka: Dear world, we need to let him go. He has lived a life full and fought for many. Pray. Believe. But set free #Madiba

@BaileySchneider: South Africa, we need to prepare for the inevitable,  but we can show our unity again in being proud of #Madiba and everything he has done!

@roxyburger: I think we should pray for what is BEST for #Madiba – and only God knows what that may be. Trust that’s what meant to happen, will be.

@sureshnie: Even in this time of night, he still has the power to bring us all together in Prayer…that’s Our Madiba @MadibaPrayers

@Debora_Patta: Today marks 18 years since #Madiba handed Francois Pienaar the Rugby World Cup trophy – a nation defining moment

@jo_annstrauss: I pray for Madiba and his family. #GodBlessMadiba

@IAMQUEENLATIFAH: Prayers for Mr Madiba! Lift him up! “The Father of South Africa”!!!
