This year’s Men’s Health Annual Menswear Collection Show held at the Melrose Arch Square this month can simply be described as ‘extravagant’ and ‘sensational’. Some of South Africa’s top models were included, all of them, might I add, being down to earth, great guys to showcase some of the best international brands, including Diesel, TopMan, Pringle, Polo, Kurt Geiger, Levis and Guess, to name but a few.
One way to kick off the show with a bang was by opening with the Men’s Health cover guys Mias, Sean, Herve, Marcel, Max and Lee. This set up the rest of the show to be a major success and one that I was proud to be a part of.
Men’s Health Fashion and Grooming Editor, Azeez Jacobs was the sergeant back stage making sure that every model was groomed and styled to perfection. A number of fashion influences were presented from Celio and Guess’s military styles to modern silhouettes by Pringle and rugged Levi’s work wear. You name the brand and you’d have been sure to find them there.
After work comes play with the Men’s Health after party putting on a fantastic closing to an unbelievable event shared with good friends!
