The popular singer, whose real surname is Koppel, and his wife have been married for almost two years and this weekend they announced that they were expecting their first child.
Announcing the imminent arrival of the baby Gundelfinger said, “Our baby is the first grandchild of both our parents, so you can imagine the level of excitement in our family at the moment.
“Danny’s grandmother is 93 and cannot wait to be a great-gran,” she added.
According to the couple the baby is due to arrive in July.
“It was terrible not being able to share our happiness with the whole world earlier,” said Gundelfinger, who aside from being married to the singer is also an advocate and a swimsuit model.
“We decided to wait until I was three months before telling friends,” she said.
