DJ Cleo’s father has passed away after a long battle with diabetes.
Cleo told Sunday World about his dad, Samuel Monyepao: “He left us a happy man.”
The DJ and his father had a difficult relationship. The DJ’s old man told the media that Cleo had neglected him, while the hitmaker denied the claims, revealing that his dad had a mental illness.
However, at the time of his death, it looks like they were making progress in fixing their issues. He added: “I’m at peace with the progress we’d made, it’s a dark time for the family and we’d really appreciate time and space to mourn.”
