DJ Zinhle has released her very own watch range entitled Era. The What’s My Name DJ chats to ZAlebs blogger DJ Roxxi about her new adventure!
I love her music and admire her dedication to her craft but I have to also say that DJ Zinhle’s style is on point!
She’s one of the few DJs that always looks great, whether she’s rocking the crowds at a gig, attending an event or even connecting on a flight at the airport.

For some time now we’ve been privy to teasers from Zinhle on her new watch range and finally Era has launched!
So what is Era?
The name Era was influenced by Zinhle’s personal journey and growth. An Era is a date or an event forming the beginning of any distinctive period. According to DJ Zinhle, Era isn’t just a watch, but a message of encouragement to every woman about the endless possibilities that exist for them. Era is a reminder that there’s no better time than now to achieve everything you’ve always dreamed about.
With celebs lending their names to everything from shoes and perfumes to cars and clothes, why release a watch range?
“We’ve seen many international stars come up with ways to extend their brands by putting their names endorsing products but the deejay says, she had to work on the designs, travel internationally to meet with manufactures and work on the brand story. I wanted to create more than just a product with my name on it, I wanted to create something special, something that will inspire people to be the best they can be, that is why I have been involved in the whole process”, says Zinhle.
The range is comprised of three designs – the Dare, Explore and Dream with each design carrying a different message. My personal favourite has to be the Dream range that definitely has the strong but feminine touch to it.
The watches are mainly for ladies, with the exception of the Dare range which has four colours that are unisex. The watches will be available for purchase from via www.djzinhle.com.
As a fellow female DJ, I am super proud of Zinhle and how far she’s come. Dancing to the beat of her own drum, Zinhle is most definitely an inspiration to young girls.
