Not only is Ashes to Ashes returning with a new season, but the telenovela has spiced up their cast by adding new and tremendously talented actors to their roster.
On Thursday night, the telenovela officially launched its second season at The Venue in Sandton, Johannesburg.
E.tv celebrities are known for offering their support to actors of other shows on the channel, and boy, did the they come out in their numbers.
One of the actors that came through to show her support is the bubbly Ntando Duma from Rhythm City.
Speaking to ZAlebs, Ntando admitted that Ashes to Ashes is her second favourite show on the channel.
“I’m actually a very big fan of Ashes to Ashes; I couldn’t wait for it to come back. The telenovela has great actors. Their storyline is very great and of course, my favourite actor on the show is Nyaniso Dzedze. He’s just so passionate about his craft, which is really inspiring.”
Ashes to Ashes and Rhythm City were both nominated for SAFTAs, which placed a huge grin on Ntando’s face too.
“Yay! I’m so glad that both shows are nominated. If both shows win it will be absolutely great because both are on e.tv. We are family, we are e.tv, we’re together,” she added.
Ntando, who is known for her love of fashion and everything beauty related, attended the launch wearing a sexy, light pink dress that had heads turning.
