Last night Africa saw Fatima and Hakeem receive their eviction notices after serving 42 days in the Big Brother House, ZAlebs spoke to both house mates to get their opinion on the evictions.
Fatima, you told an emotional Natasha to “Chill Out and have no drama” after it was announced that you were being evicted, many viewers saw that as you being jealous or cold towards Natasha, what’s your opinion of that incident?
For me I was actually saying that it’s ok; I was accepting that I was being evicted from the Big Brother house. What viewers couldn’t see is that Natasha was holding me and I couldn’t walk way and also me saying that she must chill out was for her to stay strong because she’s now the only one carrying the Malawi flag and she needs to stay focused, so there’s definitely no jealousy what so ever, none of that!
Many of your housemates nominated you for the next eviction because of your mood changes; do you think that was an unfair reason to be evicted?
I don’t think it was unfair at all, I do know that I have quite of a mood swings and when you’re in the Big Brother house moods do change and for some of the house mates maybe I was a bit too extreme but that’s who I am and they have their reasons for evicting me and its absolutely fine I’m ok with it, I mean it’s who I am.
Who’s the next house mate you’d like to see get evicted from the Big Brother house?
For no personal reasons whatsoever, but I think it’s time people saw Pokello for who she is. If I was still in the house I’d vote for Pokello to be the next person to be evicted because she was a catalyst for so much drama that occurred last week and for me playing dirty is just not cool.
Damn. Why is Hakeem so hurt? He caused this na. Hakeem ma man. no hard feelings. We still gat nothing but love for ya. #bbaTheChase

ZAlebs also spoke to the hunky Zimbabwean Hakeem to find out if his relationship with Cleo hangs in the balance now that he’s no longer in competition:
Hakeem, a lot of screams and cries were echoed when you heard that you were the next housemate to be evicted at that moment what was your frame of mind?
To be honest with you at that particular moment I knew I was leaving, I was expecting it that’s why I didn’t break down because I knew exactly what was about to happen. At the same time the response I received from people basically showed that I’m a really good person and I deserved to stay.
Last week Big Brother gave you a wedding task which was played by you and Cleo which was so convincing and beautiful, ZAlebs would like to know if you and Cleo are planning on continuing your future together?
I’d love for Cleo and I to continue our relationship out of the competition but again part of the decision lays with her. But I really hope our bond strengthens and continues because we really had a good thing going on.
The attention you’ve been getting from the ladies all over Africa has it been overwhelming or is it just a day in the life of Hakeem?
[Laughs] the attention has been overwhelming, and I appreciate all the love that’s been shown to me by the ladies. I’m quite humbled by their interest towards me, thank you ladies!
You found yourself to be a regular on the eviction nomination list, why do you feel that was the case if you were one of the favourites in the competition?
There’s two worlds when we’re talking about Big Brother – the inside world and the outside world. How the outside world perceives you is reliant on the few clips that they watch and the insiders get the opportunity to watch every move you make and listen to your every word. I’d say inside the house I was very outspoken, I stood my ground and very competitive and most probably one of the biggest threats in the house put together Cleo and I were the biggest threats in that house so I’d say that the view from inside is totally different from that of the outside world. Obviously there’s going to be people that don’t like me but I still believe that a lot of people like me and I got the reaction that I wanted last night and I know for a fact that there’s still a lot of people on my side.
