Yes. The movie Hercules is a thing. And no it’s not going to be a modern take on Disney’s 1997 animated feature, Hercules. No, it’s going to have real people and real stunts. Dwayne Johnson will be starring in it too; and believe it or not, he’s bulked up EVEN MORE for the role.

The movie is set to be directed by the underwhelming Brett Ratner (No, we’re not really fans of his) and will be released in July. This week, however, movie heads were given their first glimpse at the newest Hercules and we have to say, it doesn’t look half bad at all! We particular enjoyed this sneak peak as it’s not so much a trailer as it is an actual snippet taken directly from the film. Hercules (Johnson’s wardrobe and make up team really did a good job on him) leads his army into a trap before he declares his intention to fight. The 44 second clip left us wanting a lot more. Watch it yourself below and see what you think!
