Ephymol designer Ephraim Molingoana has slammed the decision to name J'Something as GQ South Africa's Best-Dressed Man.
The Mi Casa singer took home the accolade last weekend at a ceremony held in Hyde Park, Johannesburg.
However, the decision has not sat well with Molingoana, who believes GQ have missed a trick.
Molingoana told Sowetan: "I don't know the criteria GQ uses. They have made lots of mistakes in the past few years with that award, since they gave it to DJ Sbu in 2008. J'Something is an awesome person but he's an average dresser.
"The message to GQ is that they must not try too hard to please the market because they are losing the essence of what a best-dressed man is. It's about gentlemen, hence their name is Gentlemen's Quarterly - not skhothani fashion."
Woah! That's a bit harsh?
