Well, hello there! The ZAlebs Power Rankings is back! Here, we pick five stars who deserve to be recognised as the best around for the week.
Do you agree with our list below? Would you have chosen someone else? If so, let us know in the comments section at the end of the article. We would love to hear from you!
5 – DJ Black Coffee
It is not always easy to sell albums, regardless of how big an artist you may be. However, for DJ Black Coffee, he is bucking the trend. The internationally-renowned DJ just went platinum with his Pieces of Me album. That is fantastic! This is just another win for the DJ after a fantastic 2015. Keep up the good work, Coffee.
4 – Sonia Sedibe
The stunning Sonia Sedibe is back in the acting game! The former Generations star has landed a role on Gold Diggers, ending her hiatus from the world of acting. The hugely talented star has been spending quality time with her family and working on various business opportunities, but it seems the acting bug has bitten again. Welcome back!
3 – Cassper Nyovest
Cassper makes the list for one reason – his #FillUpTheDome concert is on Saturday! Good luck, Mr Nyovest!
2 – J’Something
New album? Check. Television show? Check. Voted best dressed in South Africa? Check! The Mi Casa singer was earlier in the week named as GQ (South Africa) magazine’s best dressed man for 2015. We tend to agree, too!
1 – Trevor Noah
Scoring an appearance on the The Ellen Degeneres Show is a big deal. Noah appeared on Ellen during the week, and this is a sign that the South African comedian’s star just keeps rising. News of a new lady in his life also broke this week, and judging by her appearance, Trev is one lucky man, and is clearly winning at life.
