Khloé Kardashian will be accompanying her boyfriend French Montana to South Africa, where he is set to perform at the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) in Durban over the weekend.
Local ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashian’ fans have been giddy with excitement since radio DJ Anele Mdoda on Wednesday broke the news that the younger Kardashian sibling will soon be gracing our shores.
According to Anele, a film crew will be travelling with Khloé, so as to document her trip to Durban for her reality show.
And while Anele tweeted that Khloé is already on her way to SA, gossip website The Juice has said that she will only be arriving in the country on Friday, 6 June.
The Juice also reports that insiders have said that Khloé might actually present one of the awards at the MAMAs, and even though it’s not yet confirmed, claim that “it is very likely”.
Khloé Kardashian filed for divorce from basketball player husband Lamar Odom in December 2013, after some four years of marriage. She is said to have moved on from her marriage with rapper French Montana, who is apparently a friend of Kanye West, her sister Kim’s husband.
Among the musicians set to perform at the MAMAs are American musicians Miguel and Trey Songz, Nigerian artists Flavour, Davido, and Tiwa Savage, and SA musician Uhuru, Oskido, Professor, and Mafikizolo .
American comedian and actor Marlon Wayans will be hosting the 2014 MAMAs, which takes place at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC) on 7 June 2014.
