This past week rumours have been swirling about the name of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s new baby. Even Zalebs got in on the act, reporting that the new tot might be called Kaidence Donda West. But it turns out everyone was wrong! Instead the celeb couple are naming their baby girl North, giving her the slightly unenviable full name of North West.
The news was broken by gossip site TMZ, which saw a copy of the baby’s birth certificate. USMagazine added that the couple have apparently taken to calling her ‘Nori’.
North ‘Nori’ West was born on 15 June, 5 weeks ahead of schedule – both the baby and mother Kim are said to be in good health. Sources say Kanye is over the moon and totally in love with his new girl. There have been previous rumours that the baby would be named North and Kim even once joked that she’d use a compass-inspired name like ‘Easton’.
