Afrikaans singer Kurt Darren was involved in a near fatal car accident this past weekend after he broke eight of his ribs. Kurt’s brother spoke to Jacaranda F.M this morning and informed the radio station that Kurt is currently recovering in hospital “We’re fortunate that his back is not broken” he said.
The car in which Kurt was traveling as a passenger fell into a ditch in Pretoria East, Darren was then immediately airlifted to Milpark Hospital and to have his injuries assessed. According to Jacainment, Darren’s manager, Louis van Wyk, informed them that the Doctors were trying to establish if Kurt had any internal bleeding, and if everything is cleared the singer could be released by the end of the week. Darren is described as being stable but experiencing extreme pain and discomfort.
