Maxwell: Soul brother comes to South Africa
It's official, Maxwell is coming to South Africa! It’s already been a great year for South African R&B lovers with the likes of Tevin Campbell and R.Kelly performing in the country in one month. If you thought it couldn't get any better, Castle Milk Stout assured everyone yesterday that in fact, it could; as the broke the great news about the RnB Sensation.

Ladies, we’re sure that you’ve screamed your lungs out (And maybe even shed some tears!) when it was made official that Grammy Award winning soul super star, Maxwell will be touring the country in December.  Castle Milk Stout and Canoc Productions in association with Mzanzi Magic had people in great anticipation yesterday as MetroFM listeners patiently waited to hear what Castle Milk Stout’s big announcement was about. Without wasting any more time, Castle Milk Stout then took to twitter to make the announcement of Maxwell’s S.A tour official.

“We are bringing this Maxwell concert to SA since we want people to connect with each other through a shared experience and create special moments, as they are serenaded by the velvety-smooth voice of Maxwell. Our Castle Milk Stout Unplugged platform is about celebrating live, unplugged music, which is rich, smooth and deserves to be savoured, just like our beer.  We believe that Maxwell’s music really embodies what our brand is about,” says Julian Remba, General Manager of Castle Milk Stout.

It’s no secret that Maxwell is an absolute hit with the ladies, with his smooth falsetto voice that has had many women swooning over him (Do “This woman’s work” and “No one” ring a bell ladies?)  Twitter was abuzz with public personalities such as MetroFM news reader and former Studio Mix presenter Mel Bala as well as Claire Mawisa expressing their excitement in attending this concert.

Maxwell fans are in for a musical treat when this sensational ambassador of soul sings a mix of his earlier classic songs and recent numbers from the first of the BLACKsummers’night trilogy albums. Maxwell is ready to give old fans and new ones a sensory experience that he never fails to deliver.  Get ready South Africa, Maxwell’s on his way!

This chart-topping, arena-filling singer, songwriter and musician, will be in South Africa to perform two concerts only. You'll be able to catch him on Thursday, 5th December at Cape Town’s Grandwest and Saturday, 7th December 2013 at the Coca-Cola Dome, Johannesburg, both concerts begin at 20h00.
