Over this past weekend there was some unfortunate news for Muvhango actor, Melusi Yeni who is said to have been hospitalized for the last two weeks, according to Move Magazine.
At this point in time, the reason why he was admitted to hospital is unknown. Fans of the actor can breathe a sigh of relief though, Yeni is said to now be at his parents’ home in Kwa Mashu, as he continues to recover. You might remember, it was only last year that he was honoured by the people of Kwa Mashu for being a good example to the community.
However, Yeni hasn’t always been the “good boy” his community perceives him to be. Last year, the actor who plays the role of Phenyo on the Muvhango found himself in a bit of a lover’s spat with on-screen girlfriend, Angela Dzara after she discovered he had a child with another woman. As if things couldn’t get any worse, Yeni was then fired from Muvhango after an alleged child maintenance scandal broke. He clearly got his ducks back in a row, as he made a quick return to the soapie and has continued to act in it ever since.
In the mean time, we wish Melusi Yeni all the best as he continues to recover back at home. We will keep you posted as and when we find out his condition as well as what is ailing him.
