In other boring international entertainment news , rumours surrounding rapper Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def’s US immigration issues have been rubbished by the star’s friend. Last week Friday Yasiin was said to have been banished from returning to the land of the free and the home of the brave after spending a considerable amount of time in Cape Town
US rapper Mos Def, is currently living in Cape Town and was reportedly refused entry to the US for an upcoming tour due to “immigration and legal issues”, the organisers of the Together Boston musical festival reported.
Meanwhile his friend and manager, Abdi Hussein, The Times that the reports were a “lie”.
“[Mos Def] has never attempted to enter any country and been refused. It’s a complete lie.””
Hussein added that the rapper merely “moved the dates” for his tour as he was working on a series of projects in Africa.
