Nathi’s Nomvula has won the SABC Summer Song of the Year award.
Nomvula was a massive hit in 2015, and had the likes of Bonang Matheba wrapped around its glorious notes.
Nathi took home the prize on Thursday night and was handed a cheque worth R150,000! The singer was also handed a brand new KIA! Talk about winning!
Nathi beat the likes of DBN Nyts’ Shumaya, K.O’s Skhanda Love, and Black Coffee‘s We Dance Again to the prize.
The winning song is voted for by SABC radio listeners – 24-million votes were cast this year.
Well done, Nathi!
