Calling all Barbz!!!
Metro FM’s First Avenue team, alongside 5FM’s DJ Fresh, have officially announced that Nicki Minaj will be performing live in South Africa in March!
During the announcement, Unathi Msengana mentioned that this is the cruelest secret that the SABC has made them keep. We wonder how long they’ve known about this? Sjoe! Such great news!
Nicki will be doing a three-leg tour in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday morning at 9am.
Here are the dates:
17 March: Johannesburg – Ticket Pro Dome
20 March: Durban – Moses Mabida stadium
22 March: Cape Town – Grand West Arena
We’re so excited right now. We can’t get over how disappointed we were when 2014’s Tribe One festival never happened. Nicki was due to perform at the festival alongside other big stars.

We’re sure Nicki is looking at SA like…
