Time For Tea: Ugly shaming Thick Leeyonce
By Time For Tea on 09 October 2015 at 13:59 · Comments
The chill was below zero on Twitter this week, and even the USA was not impressed with the antics of SA tweeps.

Photographer Lesego ‘Thick Leeyonce’ Legobane was trending at number one on Thursday night, and that could only mean one thing – Black Twitter had struck again.

The twelebrity felt the wrath of Twitter trolls after a model she worked with on a shoot posted a behind-the-scenes photo of the two.

Seems innocent enough, right? The problem, for local tweeps, was that Lesego had no makeup on and looked very different to how she does on her Instagram snaps.

The ugly shaming was real, with some tweeps saying she is ugly AF (as f***) and should probably stay indoors.

In comparison, Tiffany Heslop, who posted the less-than-flattering snap, looked beat to capacity.

Don’t you hate it when friends post unflattering pictures of you just because they look hot? Hashtag, these girls ain’t loyal.

Lesego explained that she had not slept for days and had been shooting in the sun for over nine hours.

When Tiffany asked for a photo after the shoot, Leeyonce said: "I'm crusty asf bt LETS & u BETTER tag me on IG.”

But Lesego’s words fell on deaf ears because some tweeps were still having none of that.

Some tweeps really need an intervention.

Lesego has received an outpouring of support, with some people even sharing pictures of themselves without makeup.

Another Tweleb in the spotlight was South Africa’s razzmatazz, Fikile Mbalula.

The sports minister was completely ungovernable during the Springbok’s rugby match against the USA.

Team SA thrashed the eagles 64-0, and the minister could not contain his glee.

The Washington Post, clearly not used to the comeback king’s antics, were not impressed with his “trash talk”.

"Politicians aren’t known for their realness, at least in the United States…But things must work differently in South Africa because Fikile Mbalula, the country’s minister of sport and recreation, left nothing on the table when it came to expressing his glee on Twitter over the Springboks 64-0 shutout of the United States during their Rugby World Cup match on Wednesday."

In true razzmatazz style, Fikile brushed off the criticism.

Yes, we get it, they are a "bunch of losers".
