Rapulana Seiphemo is reportedly in a critical condition in Milpark Hospital, Johannesburg.
The Generations actor was involved in a car accident on Sunday evening on the N14 near Diepsloot, Johannesburg.
A source told ZAlebs that the actor will be going into surgery later in the afternoon.
According to reports, two people died and four others sustained injuries when two cars collided.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said: “Four other patients were found on scene, two of them critically injured. Paramedics treated the patients and provided them with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, both critically injured patients were airlifted by a private medical helicopter to nearby hospitals for urgent treatment. The two remaining patients were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals for further treatment. Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.”
Generations: The Legacy PR manager Gaaratwe Mokhethi released a statement requesting for the public to give the Seiphemo family some privacy during this trying time.
“We would like to request that we all afford the family space to deal with the trauma, Rapulana is a fighter, he’ll definitely pull through.”
