Simfy Africa users have spoken! Simfy Africa today announced the most streamed tracks, albums and artists of 2014 and to no surprise most of our South African artists made the list.
Song of the year went to DJ Clock and Beatenberg for their smash summer hit Pluto which flew to the top of the charts. We’re also told that we can expect another collaboration from both parties in 2015.
Artist of the year went to the enigmatic Jeremy Loops, a definite favourite in the play logs and an artist who has dominated conversation in South Africa this year.
Breakthrough Artist of the Year had to go to dynamic SA artist Matthew Mole. Matthew has grabbed attention this year, with his radio singles, sold out gigs and high profile support slots.
